CLOUD SERVICE JERSEY CITY

There are a group of companies providing off-site data storage and processing for businesses. It’s ironic that personal computers allowed companies to distribute their IT processing and remove a large portion of the monopoly of a business’ central computer. A large portion of the IT processing became an integral portion of the local personal computer.  But then we started connecting the computers together using a server and lo and behold, we practically re-invented the central computer. With the evolution of the cloud, more and more data storage and processing is moving off-site to one of these cloud providers. This was made possible by the internet and the wireless movement of data. Companies in the cloud specialize in security and protection of the data. It’s the “all the eggs in one basket” concept with heavy protection of the basket.  The question becomes whether a business should use the cloud, which company to use, or maybe not at all.
